GNLL Boys Spring Youth Field League

The Great Northern Lacrosse League's (GNLL) Boy's Youth Spring Field Season (April - June) provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where youth associations and their teams compete, learn, and grow.

Participating teams schedule 6 to 16 games throughout seven playable weekends. Game schedules are created at an annual meeting in late February or early March. Each team is required to host at least one day of games.

The league is concluded with the GNLL Boys Youth State Tournament.

The league provides the following for all games:
    •    Certified Officials
    •    Certified EMTs or Athletic Trainers equipped with AEDs
    •    Online team statistics, standings, schedules, and updates

The GNLL Boys Spring Field League is preceded by our Pre-Season Box League (March - April) and followed by our Summer Field League (June-July) and Fall Field League (September - October).

Age Levels: 14U/12U/10U/8U/6U

Divisions: A & B divisions are offered at the 14U & 12U age levels. All associations with two or more teams at the 14U & 12U levels must select at least one to play in the A level.

Eligibility:  The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines and USA Lacrosse's Age Segmentation Policy and Athlete Development Model (ADM). USAL membership is required for all players and coaches.

If a player is hoping to play in a division outside of the USA Lacrosse Age Segmentation Policy, a GNLL Age Division Waiver must be completed by a parent, coach, or association board member and approved by the GNLL Director. Cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
