GNLL Boys Youth Fall Field League


2017 Fall GNLL Resources


The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Boys Fall Field Season provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where area youth players can compete, learn and grow. 

Participating youth teams play 6 regular season games throughout September & October at conveniently located regional host sites. Games run hourly on Sundays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Participating teams also receive priority registration for our end of season Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament

The league provides the following for each game:  
    •    Certified UMLOA officials
    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 
    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
    •    Online team statistics, standings, schedules and updates 

The GNLL Fall Field Season is preceded by Spring & Summer Field Seasons (April - July) and followed by Pre-Season Box League (March - April).

Divisions: 14U / 12U / 10U

Eligibility: The league follows US Lacrosse age & eligibility guidelines. USL membership is required for all players and coaches. Click here for a detailed break-down of additional rules and requirements. 


League Dates

Regular Season: September 10, 2017 - October 15, 2017, *Games run on Sundays between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. 

Team Registration:  May 15 - August 11, 2017

Schedule Release:

August 15, 2017 - First competition schedule draft released 
*Associations who are not paid in full, will not be scheduled

August 18, 2017 - Revision requests are due

August 22, 2017 - Final competition schedule released

Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament: October 28 - 29, 2016 @ The National Sports Center. Team participation is optional. 

The GNLL Youth Fall Field Season runs in tandem with the Homegrown Fall Premier Box League Season. Premier teams have 1 to 2 weeknight training sessions and games on Saturdays (*Schedules vary by age level). Players are able and encouraged to participate in both.

*Sites are subject to change. Capacity within each arena / region is limited. Team slots are awarded on a first come first serve basis. 


League Fees

14U and 12U Regular Season Team Fee: $1750

10U Regular Season Team Fee: $1250

Great Pumpkin Shootout Team Fee: $825

*A $500 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Remaining balance is due by August 28, 2017. 

The Great Northern Lacrosse League is a subsidiary of Homegrown Lacrosse which is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region. 


Registration

Leagues and events often fill to capacity. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first serve basis. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. 

Deadline to register is August 11, 2017. A late fee of $75 applied to all registrations received thereafter. 


Team Registration will close at 11:59pm on 8/11/2017
