The Great Northern Lacrosse League's (GNLL) Girl's Youth Spring Field Season (April - June) provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where youth associations and their teams compete, learn, and grow.

Participating teams schedule 6 to 16 games throughout seven playable weekends. Game schedules are created at an annual meeting in late February or early March. Each team is asked to host at least one day of games.

The league is concluded with the GNLL Girls Spring State Tournament.

The league provides the following for all games:
    •    Certified Officials
    •    Online team statistics, standings, schedules, and updates

The GNLL Girls Spring Field League is preceded by our Pre-Season Sixes League (Feb-April) and followed by our Summer Field League (June-July) and Fall Field League (September - October).

Age Levels: 14U/12U/10U/8U/6U

Divisions: A & B divisions are offered at the 14U & 12U age levels. All associations with two or more teams at the 14U & 12U levels must select at least one to play in the A level unless the request to have two even teams is approved by the waiver committee.

Eligibility:  The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines and USA Lacrosse's Age Segmentation Policy and Athlete Development Model (ADM). USAL membership is required for all players and coaches.

If a player is hoping to play in a division outside of the USA Lacrosse Age Segmentation Policy, a GNLL Age Division Waiver must be completed by an association board member and approved by the GNLL Director. Cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Game Score Reporting Process

**New to the 2026 Season**

Scores can now be updated by the public on Tourney Machine instead of by filling out the Game Score Report Form. We do still ask that both teams submit the score, although the first team to submit it will be posted. Should scores be incorrect, please email jing@greatnorthernlacrosse.com for a score correction. Hopefully this makes the process of getting all the scores in easier.
