The Great Northern Lacrosse (GNLL) Girls Pre-Season Sixes League (January - April) provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where area youth and hs teams compete, learn and grow.
Participating girls high school and youth teams play 6 regular season games . Girls high school teams play games in late January through February while girls youth teams play in March through early April ending before the MSLAX spring season begins.
Games run on Sundays and consist of 2x16-minute halves in a 40-minute time slot.
The league provides the following for each game:
• Certified MLUA officials
• Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
• Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings.
2024 Regular Season:
Girls HS: 6 Games across 6 Sundays - Sundays February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 3 & 10. Games run between 8-4PM.
Girls 14U: 6 Games across 5 Sundays- Sundays, February 25, March 3, 10, 17, and 24. Games run between 8-4PM.

There is a cap of 24 teams across both divisions.
Rules: Modifications to the World Lacrosse approved "Lacrosse 6s" format.

USA Lacrosse memberships are required.
Cost is $80 for field players, $50 for goalies which includes all games, a game pinny, and coach fee.
Neither team has practices but will have a team meet-up on the first day of league before the first game.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee per team.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
