The Great Northern Lacrosse (GNLL) Girls Pre-Season Sixes League (January - April) provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where area youth and hs teams compete, learn and grow.
Participating girls high school and youth teams play 6 regular season games . Girls high school teams play games in late January through February while girls youth teams play in March through early April ending before the MSLAX spring season begins.
Games run on Sundays and consist of two 16 minute halves with a two minute half time.
The league provides the following for each game:
• Certified MLUA officials
• Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
• Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings.
Girls HS: 6 Games across 7 weeks - Sundays, January 22 -March 5, 2023. Games run between 11:30-8PM.
Girls 14U: 6 Games across 6 weeks - Sundays, February 26 - April 2, 2022. Games run between 11:30-8PM.
Location: Conway Dome 2090 Conway Street St. Paul, MN
Divisions: HS Open/ 14U; Each Division is limited to 8 teams.
Rules: Modifications to the World Lacrosse approved "Lacrosse 6s" format.
Eligibility: The league follows US Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines. USL membership is required for all players and coaches. Click here for a detailed break-down of additional rules and requirements.
Regular Season Participation Fee: $650 per team

Free Agent Registration closes Friday January 22, 2023.
Girls 14U Open Team
Free Agent Registration closes Friday February 19, 2023.
Cost is $80 for field players, $50 for goalies which includes all games, a game pinny, and coach fee.
Neither team has practices but will have a team meet-up the first day of league.
Girls HS Team Registration Deadline is Friday January 21, 2022.
Girls 14U Team Registration Deadline is Friday February 11, 2022.
Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee per team.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
