2018 Tournament Resources

The GNLL Youth State Tournament (formally Champions of Summer) is Great Northern Lacrosse's way of bringing together the expanding Minnesota lacrosse community to celebrate the conclusion of the GNLL Youth Spring Season.

The tournament is open to all Youth teams that participated in the 2018 GNLL Spring Boys Youth season.

The league provides the following for each game:  
    •    Certified UMLOA officials
    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 
    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers

Tournament Dates: Saturday & Sunday, June 23 - 24, 2018

Locations: Anoka High School / St. Michael-Albertville (STMA) Middle School East / Coon Rapids - Sand Creek Park

Divisions: 14U / 12U / 10U / 8U

Price: 14U, 12U, & 10U - $750 per team / 8U - $525 per team

Format: 4-game guarantee/pool play. Top teams from each division advance to a championship bracket. *8U - 3 game single day Jamboree

Eligibility: The tournament follows US Lacrosse age & eligibility guidelines as well as US Lacrosse's Age Segmentation Policy and Athlete Development Model (ADM). USL membership is required for all players and coaches.

*Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee.

A $250 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than June 8, 2018.  

Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
