The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Girls Fall Field Season provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where area youth players can compete, learn and grow. 

Participating youth association teams play 7 regular-season games throughout September & October at conveniently located regional host sites. Games consist of two 20-minute halves. Participating teams may also opt-in and receive priority registration for our end of season Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament (GPS)

The league provides the following for each game:  
    •    Certified MLUA officials
    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 
    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
    •    Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings. 

Regular Season: 5 week season: Sundays, September 8, 2024 - October 6, 2024. Games run between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, on Sundays.

End of Season GPS Tournament (Optional) : October 12 - 13, 2024 Location TBD (Farmington in 2023)
 4-game guarantee. Pool play with advancement to championship brackets. 1 Champion crowned for each division.

2024 Locations Include:
NW: Fernbrook Fields Maple Grove/Wayzata HS
East: St. Paul Central HS/McMurray Fields

Divisions:  14U / 12U / 10U played in small sided format

Rules: MN Girls Youth Rules, 7v7 (including goalie) Format with 2 x20 minute running halves. 

Eligibility: The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines for the 2024-2025 school year. USA Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.

If a player is hoping to play in a division lower than their USA Lacrosse Age Segmentation Policy, a GNLL Age Division Waiver must be completed by a parent, coach, or association board member and approved by the GNLL Director. Cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 

Regular Season Fee: $1050 per team.

End of Season GPS Tournament Fee: $875 per team. *$75 discount for any teams that participate in the GNLL Fall League. 


Team registration deadline: Friday August 16, 2024

Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee

A $250 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than September 1, 2024. 

Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
