The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Girls Fall Field Season provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where area youth players can compete, learn and grow.
Regular Season:
End of Season GPS Tournament (Optional) : October 9-11 @ Shakopee HS & West Middle School. 4-game guarantee.
Regular Season Field Locations:
NW: Fernbrook Fields Maple Grove/Wayzata HS
East: St. Paul Central HS/McMurray Fields
South: Burnsville HS/Eagan HS
Divisions: 14U / 12U / 10U played in small sided format & 8U (select doubleheader jamborees)
Rules: MN Girls Youth Rules, 6v6 (including goalie) Format with 2 x20 minute running halves. Please note, 10U teams are encouraged to play standard 8v8 (including goalie) but coaches should decide before the game which format to play.
Eligibility: The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines for the 2026-2027 school year. USA Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.
If a player is hoping to play in a division lower than their USA Lacrosse Age Segmentation Policy, a GNLL Age Division Waiver must be completed by a parent, coach, or association board member and approved by the GNLL Director. Cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Regular Season Fee: $1100 per team for 14U-10U; 8U is $250 per jamboree date
End of Season Tournament Fee: $850 per team. *$75 discount for any teams that participate in the GNLL Fall League.
Team registration deadline: Friday August 14, 2026
Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee
A $250 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than August 29, 2025.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
