Shadowlands Shootout

Join us for Shadowlands Shootout as Club/Travel teams kick off the fall season at one of the Midwest’s largest tournaments. Held on the turf fields at the National Sports Center in Blaine, this high-energy event brings together 85+ club teams from across the Midwest and Canada for a weekend of competitive lacrosse action.

Shadowlands Showcase

The Shadowlands Showcase is the first fall recruiting event of its kind in Minnesota, designed to provide players with maximum exposure at an accessible price point. With college coaches on the field and on the sidelines, athletes will have the unique opportunity to train, compete, and be evaluated directly by top programs. Limited to just 80 boys and 80 girls, this intimate format ensures meaningful touches, quality game film, and real connections with recruiters—without the travel costs of national events.

Captains Cup

The Captains Cup Showcase works to honor Minnesota's junior and senior class and celebrate the start of the spring season. The event also provides powerful leadership training that can be brought back to participants' home communities.

Junior and senior ambassadors from every high school program in the state are chosen to compete on one of four regional all-star teams, each coached by top local UMLC college coaches. The day begins with a keynote presentation meant to inspire and develop the young leaders. Teams then compete in round-robin competition throughout the day. Each team plays a minimum of three games. The two regional teams with the best records after pool play compete for the Captains Cup in a final Championship Showdown.

JV / Prep State Tournament

The GNLL JV / Prep State Tournament is designed to provide a culminating experience where local junior-varsity and prep (9th-10th grade) teams can put themselves to the test and finish out the spring season in style.

Homegrown for the Holidays (HG4H)

Collegiate and post-collegiate mens players are invited to join us for our annual Homegrown for the Holidays winter league. The league was designed in 2007 to offer current collegiate players a way to stay in shape over the long winter break. The league also provides players with a chance to reconnect with old friends as well as revisit some old rivalries.

Coaching Clinic

Our On-Field Coaches Clinic provides a great opportunity for coaches from across the state the to come together, share and learn.

Open to coaches of all levels and experience, the On-Field Coaches Clinic presents concepts visually rather than through whiteboard drawings. Minnesota Chill coaching staff and players will demonstrate and share offensive and defensive drills and strategies. Additionally, seasoned high school coaches will offer tips and advice they've learned over the years.

Champions of Summer

Champions of Summer is Homegrown Lacrosse's way of bringing together the expanding Minnesota lacrosse community for one final time to celebrate a sport that engages and transforms the lives of those it touches. The event also ties players, parents, and coaches together by showcasing games from every level at the same location in one night.
