Since 2009, Champions of Summer has been the must-attend tournament for high school teams in and around Minnesota. This is the ultimate end-of-summer showdown for high school teams. Whether it’s your first time competing or you’ve been part of the action for years, this tournament gives high school athletes the chance to put their summer training to the test. It’s where fun and competition go hand in hand. Who will take home the 2026 title? Gather your team and get ready to compete in the most anticipated summer event for high school athletes in Minnesota!
This tournament is a recruiting event and is listed on Event Beacon and college coaches are invited to attend.
Dates: Wednesday-Thursday, July 29-30, 2026
Game start times run from 1:00 to 9:00 pm.
Divisions: Boys/Girls: HS Varsity (Gold/Silver Flights if numbers allow), JV *2026 graduates ARE eligible to play.
Location: National Sports Center- 1750 105th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55449
Format: Two-day 4-game guarantee with two 22-minute halves and a two-minute half-time. Pool play with advancement to championship brackets.
Team Participation Fee: $1200 per HS Team
Eligibility: This tournament follows USA Lacrosse age & eligibility guidelines according to the 2025-2026 school year however graduated seniors ARE eligible to play. USAL membership is NOT required for players or coaches.
High school coaches who plan to coach their spring teams need to work with their athletic directors to obtain an MSHSL summer coaching waiver.

Team Final Roster Deadline: Friday July 16, 2026 (must include jersey numbers)

Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment, and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand, and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
