Developed as Minnesota’s first youth and high school lacrosse-specific camps in 2004, Homegrown Lacrosse Summer Camps have stood out as a cornerstone of Minnesota's lacrosse community. With one of the nation's lowest camper-to-staff ratios at 4:1, Homegrown Summer Camp coaches engage and challenge players of all skill levels physically and mentally.
Our camps offer a transformative experience, embracing beginners and seasoned players within a supportive environment. Players are able refine their skills and deepen their passion for lacrosse while cultivating friendships within the lacrosse community. Camp schedules are designed with tons of on-field and off-field options that can be customized by the campers to meet their unique interests.
At the heart of our camp lies the Leadership Development Program (L.D.P.), uniting volunteer high school and collegiate counselors with small groups of campers. Throughout the week, these mentors actively engage with campers, providing individualized support and guidance. As a result, each camper gets a mentor they can rely on and look up to.

Players enjoy 2-3 on-field lacrosse sessions each day that focus on positional work and small sided concepts that get put to the test during scrimmages and Night Games. The University of St. Thomas provide state of the art facilities for non-stop lacrosse
The coaches at camp are made up of HG’s Senior Staff, pro players, and guest coaches who all have collegiate playing backgrounds and years of experience coaching at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels.
Campers have tons of off field activities to choose from each day. Hikes along the beautiful Mississippi River are just one of the staples during our time off the field.
Spikeball, Gladiator, Slip N' Lax, and Top Lax are just a few of the Camp Games invented at summer camp that are classics every year.
