Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. A $500 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than August 29, 2025. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee. Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment, and league administration costs. Proceeds help us sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
Rules: We use MN Boys Youth Lacrosse Rules. Each game is staffed by certified officials, EMTs (N/A for 8/10U Games) and scorekeepers. We also provide mobile-responsive schedules, online statistics, and standings.
Eligibility: The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines. This generally means second-year players in a division will move up to the next division September 1. USAL membership is required for all players and coaches.
If a player would like to play in a division outside the USA Lacrosse Age Segmentation Policy, a GNLL Age Division Waiver must be completed by a parent, coach, or association board member and approved by the GNLL Director. Cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The GNLL Fall Field Season (Sunday games) runs concurrently with our Fall HGL Premier Box League, which runs games on Saturdays and is open to individual rather than team registrations.
