2022 Fall Season Resources
The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Boys Fall Field Season provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where area youth players can compete, learn and grow.
Participating teams play 10 regular season games throughout September & October at conveniently located regional host sites. Games run on the hour and consist of four 12-minute quarters. Participating teams may also opt-in and receive priority registration for our end of season Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament (GPS).
The league provides the following for each game:
• Certified Officials
• Certified EMT's equipped with AED's
• Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
• Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings.
Regular Season: 5 week season: Sundays, September 10, 2023 - October 8, 2023. Games run between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, on Sundays.
End of Season GPS Tournament (Optional) : October 14- 15, 2023 @ Location TBD (2022-Farmington High School) 4-game guarantee. Pool play with advancement to championship brackets. 1 Champion crowned for each division.

* IMPORTANT* JV and Varsity Boys Rosters currently capped at 22 including coaches on the sidelines.
Rules: NFHS Lacrosse Rules with MN Offseason Guidelines
Eligibility: Open to boys in grades 8 - 12 (Based on 2022-2023 school year). The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines. US Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.
Regular Season Fee: $2500 per team (Teams may have the option to pro-rate down, inquire with League Director if interested)
End of Season Tournament (GPS) Fee: $1250 per team. *$150 discount for any teams that participate in the 2022 GNLL Fall League. $650 for 10U teams, league discount does not apply.
The GNLL Fall Field Season (Sunday games), runs concurrently with our Fall HGL Premier Box League which runs games on Saturdays and is open to individual rather than team registrations.
The fall season is followed by our Boys H.S. Winter Field League.
Team registration deadline: Friday August 19, 2022
Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee
A $500 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than September 2nd, 2022.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
