Minnesota Chill All-State Travel Teams

The Minnesota Chill is an All-State travel lacrosse club that provides transformative training and travel experiences designed to help players grow on and off the field. Our athletes compete and train at the highest level, explore different parts of the country, form lasting bonds, and most importantly, develop their love for the game. 


2019-2020 Season Player Evaluations

Our mission is to build a community that inspires and empowers youth to excel in life and lacrosse by using the sport as a conduit for building confidence, instilling character and creating a sense of community in our youth.

Dates & Times: Sunday, September 15 and 22
- Youth (14U / 13U / 12U / 11U): 5:00 - 6:30 pm
- High School (2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023): 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Location: Hopkins High School Stadium,

Cost: $20 ($25 after 9/8)

2019-2020 Season Information

We offer winter & summer teams at the following age levels: 

Players may opt to participate in the winter and/or summer seasons only. When numbers and interest allow, we offer A and B teams at youth and freshmen levels. 



Winter Season

Tournaments / Events:

High School Teams:
January 3 - 5, 2020: The Adrenaline Challenge, Del Mar, CA

Youth Teams:
February 27 - March 1, 2020: Best of The West, Las Vegas, NV

Training:
Winter training consists of 14 team practices and 28 HG Academy training sessions, which run regionally on weeknights. 

Team Practice:
Practices are primarily on Saturday mornings at the Concordia Sea Foam Dome in St. Paul, or on Sundays at the Academy of Holy Angels in Minneapolis. Winter Training runs November 10, 2020 - February 22, 2020. Times vary by team/age level. Check calendars at the bottom of team pages for exact details. 

HG Academy Training:
Winter and Pre-Season Academy is included in team training fees. Dates, times, and locations vary by region. Detailed information available on the Homegrown Academy page.

June 26 - 28, 2020, MidAmerica Invitational, Westfield, IN
July 12 - 14, 2020, Adrenaline Western Shootout, Colorado Springs, CO

Youth Teams:

Team Training:

High School Teams kick off the summer with an overnight team development camp at the University of St. Thomas, followed by weekly team training sessions. 
Dates: June 23 & July 7. 
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:45 pm
Location: Parade Park, Minneapolis

Youth Teams participate in all-day training camps, which consist of 2 on-field sessions, lunch, and team meetings. 
Dates: June 9, 16, 23 & July 7
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Location: Parade Park, Minneapolis


Participation Fees

A detailed breakdown of team participation fees and payment deadlines is available on each respective team page. 

Participation fees are all-inclusive e.g. ground transportation costs, tournament fees, coach/admin costs, lodging and team meals. We strive to make the travel team experience as affordable/accessible as possible. Payment plans and a limited number of scholarships are made available by request.

Homegrown Lacrosse's 501c(3) tax-exempt status, sponsorships, donation requests, bulk purchasing and extensive bid sourcing and are all leveraged to keep costs as low as possible while maintaining a high standard of quality and value.
