The Homegrown Coaches Clinic combines hands-on training, custom breakout sessions, and expert insights to help you grow as a leader and mentor. Join us for an immersive coaching experience tailored to inspire and empower lacrosse coaches of all levels.

Coaching goes beyond X's and O's—it’s about managing people, practices, and game flow while fostering an environment where players can thrive, develop skills, and grow as individuals. This clinic offers practical, actionable strategies to refine your coaching techniques, build strong team cultures, and confidently navigate challenges. Whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance your expertise, you'll leave with the tools and knowledge to lead effectively and make a lasting impact on your team.


Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Location: Concordia University, St. Paul – Seafoam Dome
  • Cost: $20 per coach or $100 for an association to send unlimited coaches. Each participant receives a whistle and custom lanyard
  • Who: Ideal for current boys' and girls' coaches of 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U teams, as well as new coaches and current high school/college players looking to grow their coaching skill set.
  • What: Topics will include on-field skills and drill progression demonstrations, GK specific topics and soft-skills development with mental health and team building focus.

“Choose Your Own Adventure” Breakouts

Shape your own learning experience by selecting breakout sessions that match your interests and coaching level.

- Dive into sessions on lacrosse drills, team strategies, and skill development—from foundational concepts to advanced techniques.

- Explore soft-skill workshops focused on building positive team culture, communicating effectively with parents, managing tryouts, and supporting players’ mental health and confidence.

- Learn directly from experienced coaches as they demonstrate live drills, game scenarios, and practice progressions.

- Step onto the field yourself to experience the techniques firsthand and leave with practical tools you can use right away.


2025 Recap

Thank you to the 2025 Homegrown Coaches Clinic presenters and attendees. We had over eighty coaches in attendance from twenty-five different associations! 

GNLL has virtual coaches sessions available for online learning at your own pace. GNLL also has weekly coaches' office hours every Monday beginning in April - hop on, ask a question and learn more about the game of lacrosse!
