The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Men's Summer Box Season provides a fun, safe, and structured environment where collegiate and post-collegiate players can play in box lacrosse competition, develop their game and stay connected with teammates/friends.
Participating teams play 7 regular season games followed by 2 weeks of playoffs on the Thursday of each week throughout the summer. Games are played as 20-minute running time periods.
The league provides the following for each game:
• Certified UMLOA officials
• Certified EMT's equipped with AED's
• Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers

Season Dates: Thursdays, June 7, 2018 - August 16, 2018 (Off July 5 & Aug 2). Games start at 6:30, 7:45, or 9:00 PM.
Location: Northeast Ice Arena in Minneapolis
Price: $2250 per team
*We have switched our Men's Leagues from player registration fees to an overall team fee for the 2018 Summer Season. This will help lower costs for players and ensure full team rosters.
Eligibility: Leagues are open to men 18 years of age or older. All participants must have an up to date US Lacrosse membership.
Rules: The league follows USL Box / Indoor Lacrosse Rules
Free Agents: Registration is available for free agent players. Free agents lists are shared with team administrators who will contact registrants if and when they have roster openings. Registering as a free agent does not guarantee placement on a team.
Team Registration Deadline: May 15, 2018
*This league is limited to 6 Teams. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $150 late fee
A $250 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than May 15, 2018.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
