Homegrown Lacrosse is seeking an Administrative Intern with a commitment to a time frame between May 1, 2017 and September 1, 2017. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about the internal and administrative aspects of a nonprofit organization. The Administrative Intern will work approximately 10 hours per week and will work directly with our Head Program Director.
To apply, please send a resume, cover letter and any letters of recommendations to Chris White at email@example.com by Monday, April 13, 2017.
**This is an unpaid internship.
**The Administrative Intern will, however, receive a Homegrown Lacrosse Apparel stipend and will be allowed to participate in any HGL men’s or women’s summer leagues free of charge.
It is the policy of the Homegrown Lacrosse to be an equal opportunity employer and to hire individuals on the basis of their qualifications and ability to do the position to be filled. Unless otherwise provided in writing, employment with the Homegrown Lacrosse is considered to be at will, so that either party may terminate the relationship at any time and for any lawful reason.
Offers of employment, even those of a temporary or part time nature, are contingent upon completion of background verification with satisfactory results (as outlined by Homegrown Lacrosse's Board of Directors and based on best practices for nonprofits).
All staff are required to have background checks conducted to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers. To see the criteria used by Homegrown Lacrosse to evaluate the results of the background checks, please contact Jordan Herrman via email.
