Administrative Internship

Are you studying accounting or finance? Business administration? Nonprofit management? Seeking an entry level opportunity to gain real-world experience? Intrigued about working in a youth sports non-profit?

Homegrown Lacrosse is seeking an Administrative Intern with a commitment to a time frame between May 1, 2017 and September 1, 2017. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about the internal and administrative aspects of a nonprofit organization. The Administrative Intern will work approximately 10 hours per week and will work directly with our Head Program Director.


Responsibilities

  • Update website copy for organizational programming and information pages
  • Support the staff in identify strategies to improve efficiencies in the office and during program execution
  • Compose and execute social media messages in various outlets
  • Assist with the management of the registration system and communication database
  • Work on special projects such as fundraising efforts
  • Help prepare the Senior Staff for program meetings
  • Assist the annual report creation and compilation process
  • Engage in the creative process for marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Homegrown Senior Staff

**This is an unpaid internship.  
**The Administrative Intern will, however, receive a Homegrown Lacrosse Apparel stipend and will be allowed to participate in any HGL men’s or women’s summer leagues free of charge.
