2018 Minnesota Meltdown

The Minnesota Meltdown is an opportunity for High School Varsity, Junior Varsity and/or Prep team(s) to participate in 2 scrimmages in the beginning of April to prepare for the start of the high school regular season.

The tournament provides the following for each game:  
    •    Certified UMLOA officials
    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 
    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers

Each scrimmage is ran in accordance with the MSHSL Scrimmage Policy.

Location: McMurray Fields - City of Saint Paul

Price: $490

Boys - Varsity / JV / Prep
Girls - Varsity / JV 

Eligibility: Open to players in grades 8 - 12 (Based on 2017-2018 school year)

The Meltdown also allows your team to be a part of the larger Minnesota Lacrosse community. All proceeds from the event benefit Homegrown Lacrosse's In-School P.E. programming through an investment in Coach Across America Americorps coaches. With your participation, you are making a commitment to help support the growth of the game across the state and to provide the game as an opportunity for young men and women to set goals and learn about themselves as leaders.

*This event is limited in capacity. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $75 late fee.

A $100 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than March 25, 2018.

Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
