The Minnesota Chill is the state’s original All-State travel lacrosse club—founded in 1997 and still setting the standard for player development, team culture, and community impact. As a nonprofit organization, we’re built to serve—not sell—putting athletes and families first in everything we do.
From 10U to graduating seniors, Chill players train and compete at a high level, form lifelong friendships, and grow as leaders both on and off the field. With regional skill sessions, centralized practices, best-in-class facilities, and elite travel experiences, we provide a holistic and flexible development model that supports multi-sport athletes and works for real family schedules.
Our girls program is proud to be one of the only clubs in the region led by a 100% female coaching staff—former college players and experienced mentors who create a supportive, empowering environment where young women thrive as athletes and leaders.
We also travel together as a team—flights, hotels, meals, and logistics are all handled—allowing players to build independence, deepen team bonds, and focus on what matters most: playing, learning, and having fun.
Whether you're striving to play in college, grow as a leader, or simply fall deeper in love with the game, the Chill is more than a team—it's a community, a training ground, and a movement.
Join us for fall, winter, and summer seasons—opt in to the ones that fit your goals. We align with local association and high school schedules to make dual participation easy and sustainable.
Minnesota Chill offers year-round programming designed to support player development, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the game. Each season is intentionally structured to meet athletes where they are and help them grow on and off the field.

Hollen Thompson, a standout defender for the Minnesota Chill high school girls team and Park of Cottage Grove, was recently highlighted in the Star Tribune for her incredible journey in lacrosse. Born without the lower half of her left arm, Hollen has never let it define her. From picking up a stick at age 11 to committing to play at Edgewood College, she’s turned determination into impact—on and off the field.
We’re proud to have her in our Homegrown community.
