2019-2020 Season Information


Winter Season

Tournaments / Events:
February 27 - March 1, 2020: Best of The West, Las Vegas, NV

Training:
Winter training consists of 14 Saturday morning team practices and 28 HG Academy training sessions which run regionally on weeknights. 

Team Practice:
Practices are primarily on Saturday mornings at the Concordia Sea Foam Dome in St. Paul, or on Sundays at the Academy of Holy Angels in Minneapolis. Some dates and time vary. See the team calendar at the bottom of this page for more details and/or schedule changes.

Summer Season

Tournaments / Events: 
June 20 - 21, 2020, Blue Ox Invitational, Stillwater, MN
June 26 - 28, 2020, The Grail, Westfield, IN
July 10 - 12, 2020, Pipe City Lacrosse Festival, Vernon Hills, IL 
July 20 - 23, 2020, HGL Overnight Summer Camp, University of St. Thomas
*2020 events remain slightly tentative & are subject to change. 

Team Training:  
Summer training begins in June and consists of 4 all-day training camps, which mimics tournament game days where players can face up to 4 games in one day. Day camps prepare players for game-like conditions and consist of  2 on-field sessions, a break for lunch, and team meetings. Players also participate in a four-day overnight camp at the University of St. Thomas.

All-Day Training Camps:
Dates: June 9, 16, 23 & July 7
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Location: Parade Park, Minneapolis

Participation fees are all-inclusive e.g. ground transportation costs, tournament fees, coach/admin costs, lodging and team meals. We strive to make the travel team experience as affordable/accessible as possible. Payment plans and a limited number of scholarships are made available by request.

Homegrown Lacrosse's 501c(3) tax-exempt status, sponsorships, donation requests, bulk purchasing and extensive bid sourcing and are all leveraged to keep costs as low as possible while maintaining a high standard of quality and value.
