The Great Northern Lacrosse Men's Pickup Fall Field League provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where men's players can stay active and meet other members of the lacrosse community. 

GNLL will provide a field manager to help with field setup/teardown and timing. No officials or EMT will be provided to help keep cost down. 

Regular Season: 4-week season: Sundays September 14, 21, 28, Oct 5 from 6-7PM

Regular Season Field Location:
- Northwest: Maple Grove Fernbrook Fields

Player Fee: $20 for 4 sessions. Please bring your own reversible pinnies. 

Registration deadline: Monday September 8, 2025

Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and capped at 50 players. 

Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment, and league administration costs.  Proceeds help us sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region. 

Format

• 10v10 depending on turnout (6v6 or 7v7 are options)
• Teams formed randomly based on turnout
• Running clock:
  • 2x25 minute halves
• Use triangle goals if no goalies present
• No officials: players self-officiate and call their own fouls/honor system

Men’s General Contact & Physical Play Rules

• No body checking
• No hard sticks checks
• Stick checks allowed only on gloves and stick in a controlled manner
• No “take-out” checks or hits
• No cross-checking
• No Fighting
• Maintain control- this is about play, not physical dominance
• Competitive but friendly 

Men’s Restricted Play Rules

• No faceoffs after goals- use alternate possession or goalie clears

Men’s Equipment Guidelines

• Gloves & helmet required
• Arm pads, shoulder pads, and mouth guards are strongly recommended
