The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Boys Youth Spring Box Season (March - April) provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where area youth teams compete, learn and grow.
Participating teams play 6 regular season games at conveniently located regional indoor arenas. Games run hourly on Saturdays & Sundays between 9:00 a.m. at 6:00 p.m.
The league provides the following for each game:
• Certified UMLOA officials
• Certified EMT's equipped with AED's
• Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers

Age Levels: 14U, 12U, 10U.
Divisions: A / B levels will be offered if demand allows. Historically, associations have opted to run even-teams instead of A / B.
Eligibility: The league follows US Lacrosse indoor guidelines, US Lacrosse age & eligibility guidelines as well as US Lacrosse's Age Segmentation Policy and Athlete Development Model (ADM). USL membership is required for all players and coaches.
Regular Season: March 17 - April 22, 2018 *Games run on Saturdays & Sundays between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM
Team Registration: November 1 - February 10, 2018
February 14, 2018 - First competition schedule draft released
February 16, 2018 - Revision requests are due
February 23, 2018 - Final competition schedule released
- Teams must submit their spring break dates during registration
- The GNLL Spring Box Season games may overlap with GNLL Spring Field Season games scheduled in early April (April - June).
Regular Season Team Fee: $1200
*A $250 deposit required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable two months prior to the league start date and due at the time of registration. Remaining balances are due March 1, 2018.
The Great Northern Lacrosse League is a subsidiary of Homegrown Lacrosse which is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
Leagues and events often fill to capacity. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received.
Deadline to register is February 10, 2018. A late fee of $100 applied to all registrations received thereafter.
