The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Girls Fall Field Season provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where area youth players can compete, learn and grow.
Participating High School teams play 8 regular season games throughout September & October at conveniently located regional host sites. Games consist of two 20-minute halves. Participating teams may also opt-in and receive priority registration for our end of season Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament (GPS).
The league provides the following for each game:
• Certified MLUA officials
• Certified EMT's equipped with AED's
• Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
• Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings.
Regular Season: 5 week season: Sundays, September 10, 2023 - October 8, 2023. Games run between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, on Sundays.
End of Season GPS Tournament (Optional) : October 14 - 15, 2023 @ Farmington High School & Levi Dodge MS.
4-game guarantee. Pool play with advancement to championship brackets. 1 Champion crowned for each division.

NW: Fernbrook Fields Maple Grove
East: St. Paul Central HS/McMurray Fields
Divisions: Varsity & JV (if interest allows)
Rules: NFHS Lacrosse Rules with MN Offseason Guidelines; 7v7 (including goalie) Format with 2 x20 minute running halves.
Eligibility: Open to girls in grades 8 - 12 (Based on 2023-2024 school year). The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines. US Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.
Regular Season Fee: $1250 per team.
End of Season GPS Tournament Fee: $800 per team. $100 discount for any teams that participate in the GNLL Fall League.
Team registration deadline: Friday August 18, 2023
Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee
A $250 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than September 1, 2023.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
