Homegrown Fall Positional Training consists of 6 position-specific training sessions. Each session is designed to enhance your skills and lacrosse IQ to help you master the position. Combining foundational skill development with application in small-sided gameplay helps players evolve the skills necessary to play their position. Develop your game in an inclusive community that welcomes players of all skill levels.

Grades: Girls & Boys players grades 3-12
*training groups may also be grouped by age/experience
Training Groups:
*Players are welcome to switch groups from session to session to work on multiple positions (especially for girls lacrosse where players often play multiple positions!)
**Training sessions are open to players of all skill levels, abilities, and genders. "Boys" and "Girls" refer to the style of lacrosse taught at each session. Players should bring their own equipment.

15 mins - Foundation: Individual Skills (i.e. shooting, passing, dodging)
15 mins - Integration: Small Group Drills (i.e. shooting in offensive sets, dodging with pressure, off-ball movement)
15 mins - Application: Small-Sided Games & Competition (i.e. 2v2/3v3s, odd-number situations, gameplay scenarios)

15 mins - Integration: Live Drills (i.e. saves on the run, saves in tight, clearing)
15 mins - Application: Small-Sided Games & Competition (i.e. live shots in drills, gameplay scenarios)
Optional Additional Opportunity - GNLL Fall League Free Agent Team
Many Associations & High Schools have Fall League Teams that compete September - October in the GNLL Fall Leagues. We encourage Fall Academy participants to play with their local teams if they have one! However, for those who do not have a team with their local cities, you can sign up as a Free Agent and be assigned a team.
