The Homegrown Lacrosse Spring Face-off Clinic offers players the opportunity to develop extensive face-off skills and knowledge.
As the game of lacrosse has evolved, the positions have also become more specialized. Each facet of the game has tremendous significance, but face-offs play an integral role in determining the tempo of a game, as well as possession time.
Leading the Face-Off Clinic this year will be Zac Tucci. Zac plays professionally for the Waterdogs LC in the PLL. Zac played a important role in the Waterdogs championship run that ultimately ended in a championship. Before his professional career Zac attended the University of North Carolina where he was the starting FOGO for 4 years. During that stretch he was named an All- American as well as being on the ACC All- Academic team.

The Faceoff Clinic is dedicated to developing the lacrosse skills of every athlete through the highest quality of instruction. We strive to create well-rounded athletes with the ability to contribute to their teams offensively, defensively, and at the faceoff x. While physical skills are important, The Faceoff Clinic recognizes that many times the mental game can be the difference between a good player and an elite player. Therefore, we place great emphasis on strengthening these skills. Most importantly, The Faceoff Clinic believes in live repetition as a way to improve as a faceoff specialist. The Faceoff Clinic focuses on developing the following core techniques:
Beginner: created to build fundamentals for youth players with some or limited face-off experience
Intermediate: curated for the experienced youth player looking to take their face-off game to the next level
Elite: designed for the high school player with face-off experience and includes more 1-on-1 time with face-off coaches
