The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Boys HS Summer Box Season provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where school-based summer teams can compete, learn and grow.
Participating teams play 7 regular season games on weeknights throughout the summer at conveniently located outdoor rinks. Games run on the hour and consist of three 15-minute periods. Junior-A and Junior-B Divisions will be offered.
All games are overseen by certified UMLOA officials, EMT's equipped with AED's and professional site managers/scorekeepers. Mobile-responsive team statistics, standings, schedules, and updates are provided via TourneyMachine.
Regular Season: June 18, 2018 - August 10, 2018 (Off July 2 - 6, 2018). Games run between 6:00 and 10:30 p.m. Junior-A Games run on Mondays or Tuesdays. Junior-B Games run on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Central: Northeast Ice Arena (Minneapolis - Indoor)
Price: $1550 Per Team
Eligibility: Open to boys in grades 8 - 12 (Based on 2017-2018 school year). Graduated seniors are not eligible and are instead encouraged to participate in our Men's Summer League. The league follows USL / NFHS box lacrosse guidelines. USL membership is required for all players and coaches.
Free Agents: Registration is available for players whose high school teams are not sponsoring teams. Free agents lists are shared with team administrators who will contact registrants if and when they have roster openings. Registering as a free agent does not guarantee placement on a team.
A $500 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. The remaining balance is due no later than May 15, 2018.
Leagues and events often fill to capacity. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received.
Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
