The Homegrown Lacrosse Preseason Face-Off Clinic offers players the opportunity to develop extensive face-off skills and knowledge.
As the game of lacrosse has evolved, the positions have also become more specialized. Each facet of the game has tremendous significance but face-offs play an integral role in determining the tempo of a game, as well as possession time.
Each player will receive individualized instruction, breaking down a face-off from start to finish. During camp they will go over different strategies and techniques helping them to take the best advantage of their strengths and minimize their weaknesses. Additionally, players will receive feedback with notes from the staff on strengths and areas to continue developing.

The field time will be broken into stations which combine exploration of strategies involved in the different face-off moves, wing play, game adjustments, referee perspective and live competition.

-Proper stance and balance
-Types of moves
-Ground balls
-Hand speed drills
-Wing play strategy
-Fast breaks and reading the defense
-Referee perspective

Registration is open to players in grades 4th through 12th.
Registration Deadline is February 28 unless capacity is met prior to that date.
