Girl's High School Summer Lakes League
Homegrown Lacrosse's Girl's High School Summer League is designed to give teams the opportunity to continue playing together in the off-season in a fun, safe, and competitive environment. We aim to build camaraderie among players, dynamics of team offenses and defenses while continuing to improve players individual skills.
Dates, Locations, Eligibility:
Wednesdays at Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield: June 13 - Aug 8. *Off the week of July 4.
Games start at 5:00 p.m. and run through 10 p.m.
Thursdays at Hamline University in St. Paul: June 13 - Aug 8. *Off the week of July 4.

Eligibility: Open to girls grades 9-12 (2012-2013 school year) as well as 2012 graduating seniors. Teams are assigned to locations based on availability.
Cost: The total fee is $1,750 per team. This includes a $500 non-refundable deposit that reserves a space in the league and a $1,250 remaining fee due on or before your first game. Need based scholarships are available.
Team Registration - Coaches and Administrators
Teams can register together with their current HS teams, play with friends, and continue their seasons!
1. Complete the Team Registration.
2. Mail in the team's $500 deposit.
3. Once the registration materials are received, you will be sent instructions on how your players can register with Homegrown Lacrosse.
4. All individual players need to register on your roster through Homegrown Lacrosse for informational purposes and to sign our Waiver and Liability Release Form.
5. Monitor your team's roster via Homegrown Lacrosse's registration system.
6. The schedule will be posted to www.homegrownlacrosse.org in late May. Connect with your players to let them know the schedule.
7. Registration Closes on May 28. Schedules will be complete on June 4. The remaining $1,250 is due June 10th.
Individual Registration - Free Agents
Individuals can register as a free agent if they are not currently associated with a team.
1. Complete the Individual Player - Free Agent Registration.
2. We will notify you as to what team you are placed on by June 5th.
3. Connect with the team you are assigned to, pay the team's fee, and gain schedule information. Typical cost for a team league is $90-$130 per player *varies per specific team.
4. Registration for free agents closes May 28th.

League Format & League Rules
Game Format
- One timeout per game
- 3 minute half times
- Games (the clock) will start at scheduled times - teams play on field immediately after another team
- If time allows Braveheart (full-field 1 v. 1) will decide a tie
- Warm-ups will be on your own time at open spaces you find around field
- If a goalie receives a time serving penalty, a team's field player will serve the penalty
Playoffs Format
- Each team will play eight games total, including seven to eight regular season games followed by one or two weeks of playoffs *varies slightly by site.
- Playoff seedings will be created via goal differential when teams in the same division have not played all opponents.
League Rules
- Homegrown Lacrosse reserves the right to discipline players and coaches who are deemed to be behaving in an unsportsmanlike or inappropriate manner which includes and is not limited to temporary or permanent suspension from the league
- All players must sign Homegrown Lacrosse's Waiver and Liability Release Form
- All players and coaches must be current US Lacrosse Members
- All coaches must sign Homegrown Lacrosse's Coaches Waiver and Liability Release Form
- Players must wear full equipment at all times (Goggles, Mouthguard, Athletic Shoes, *Gloves are are strongly encouraged)
- Goalies must wear a chest protector, helmet and a neck protector at all times
- Games that are terminated due to inclement weather are not guaranteed to be re-scheduled
- Games that are terminated with more than half of the time played will be considered complete
- Games that are terminated with more than half of the time remaining will not count towards league standing

Team Registration
Use this link to start the registration process for your team. All team administrators must register their team here. Once this process is complete and the team's deposit has been received, the team administrator will receive instructions on where to send their players to register.
Individual Player - Free Agent Registration
Use this link to register as a free agent or a player who's regular season team is not entering a team in the Summer League. Once you register, you will be made available to the existing teams.
