He also recognizes that the sport is special to him because it has
taught him leadership and interpersonal skills that apply to his every
day life. He acknowledges that lacrosse has taught him the importance of
hard work, and motivation which will enable him to better his future.
He appreciates the fact that it has kept him focused on the things that
are most important in his life, primarily family, school and lacrosse.
He enjoys coaching because he loves to experience a players’ excitement
and satisfaction when something they have learned and worked hard at
pulls through during games. He also knows that through coaching, he can help young adults to realize that teamwork and dedication are key to being successful in lacrosse and life. Tim’s favorite coaching drill is one-on-one’s, because it shows the aggressiveness of lacrosse, and brings the best out of each player.
He believes that Homegrown Lacrosse embodies the meanings of the words committed, motivated, and influential.
Tidbits: Tim likes Korean Barbecue and Chipotle, would love to travel throughout Europe and cannot do without his iPhone 4.
