Kris Olson

Kris 'Ole' Olson grew up in Anoka but now calls St. Paul his home.  While in college at St. John's University, Kris played midfielder and was named Team Captain in 2003-2004.

Kris really likes the speed of the game and the abundance of strategy that makes lacrosse such a great team sport.  He also has met some of his best friends through lacrosse.

"What I like most about coaching is watching the athletes have success, whether it is the little successes throughout a game, or the big success of getting the win," he says.

Kris's favorite drill is 3-on-2 into 2-on-1 fast breaks and the three words he would describe Homegrown Lacrosse are simple: "Keeping It Real."

Tidbits: Kris likes hanging out at Busters on 28th Street and playing with his Droid phone. Since his nickname is 'Ole', it may come as no surprise that his dream travel destination is Norway.
