Lance lives in Eagan and is the Head Coach at Rosemount High School. A graduate of St. Olaf College, he was the 2004 UMLL All-Conference Goalie.
Lacrosse gave Lance the opportunity to excel. "Goalie is a challenging position. By being a goalie, I prove to myself that I can handle anything that comes my way,” he says. But it's not all hard work. Lance also says, "Playing lacrosse is a time to have fun, relax and chill during the summer.”
Lance appreciates the amount of focus needed during a game, especially when the goal is winning while working with his teammates to achieve that win. Lacrosse has given Lance the opportunity to meet new friends, and has also given him the chance to share with others his excitement for the game.
He enjoys teaching players about lacrosse, and seeing their pride when they make a big play, get their first goal, make a huge save, or learn a new move.
Tidbits: When Lance is not playing or coaching, he can sometimes be found enjoying his favorite food, BBQ chicken pizza. He would like to travel to Europe. His favorite gadget is his GPS and he claims he would (quite literally) be lost without it.?
