Daniel Forsyth

Daniel grew up in Plymouth where he attended Armstrong High School, but now calls Westbury, NY his home.  He is now an assistant coach at C.W. Post University after playing lacrosse there. While at Post, his team won the NCAA D-II National Championship in 2009.  As a coach, Daniel helped them capture the 2010 National Championship, which is an accomplishment he is very proud of.

Lacrosse has given Daniel "more opportunities that I could have never imagined." It has connected him with many great people around the country and paid for his college education.

Daniel loves coaching lacrosse as a way of giving back to the sport that has given him so much.  He enjoys working with athletes and watching them improve. When asked what his favorite drill is, the answer is simple: 1-on-1s.

He is proud to be part of Homegrown Lacrosse because the program staff are well-qualified, genuine, and very professional.

Tidbits: Daniel enjoys sushi at Mount Fuji and would love to go back to Baltimore, MD for the 2011 College Lacrosse National Championship.  With as much time as Daniel spends on the road coaching, it makes sense that his favorite gadget is his GPS.
