Joe began playing lacrosse in third grade in his hometown of Inwood, New York.  His lacrosse career lead him to play for C.W. Post where he was a member of the C.W. Post Division II National Championship team in 2009 and 2010, the long stick midfielder is a recipient of numerous honors including USILA-First Team All-American (2010) and USILA-Second Team All-American (2009).

For Joe, lacrosse has brought a great deal of success to his life – both on the field and off. As he puts it, “the lessons learned playing lacrosse translate over into everyday life.”

A coach on and off the field, for Joe being able to pass on knowledge he has learned to a younger generation is what he enjoys most about coaching. His favorite coaching drill is a 1-on-1 drill between defense and offense. About this drill, Joe says, “it is extremely important to work on player’s individual skills so they can apply them to function as a team.”

Tidbits: Joe loves sushi and his must have gadget is his iPod – he listens to a lot of music. He would also love to travel to many different countries to view the different cultures the world has to offer and see how people live in different areas of the world.
