Boys H.S. Winter River League
Homegrown Lacrosse's 2011 Boys Winter River Leagues provide players a chance to continue to play in an organized and competitive league throughout the off season.
This year Winter River Leagues will be run at three sites giving players a chance to play on multiple nights. This is also a great opportunity for players to play with players outside of their regular High School team. Participants will be able to form new relationships and build the MN lacrosse community. All teams will be coached by two Homegrown Lacrosse staff members.
Days and Locations
Mondays at the Maple Grove Dome
5 Sessions - November 14 to December 12
- Division 1 (Juniors & Seniors) 2 teams
- Start times: 9:00 p.m.
- Division 2 (Freshmen & Sophomores) 2 teams
- Start times: 8:00 p.m.
- Division 3 (Grades 7 & 8)
- Start Times: 7:00 p.m.
Tuesdays at the Minnetonka Dome
5 Sessions - November 15 to December 13
- Division 1 (Juniors & Seniors) 4 teams
- Start times: 8:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m.
- Division 2 (Freshmen & Sophomores) 4 teams
- Start times: 6:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays at Concordia University (St. Paul)
5 Sessions - November 19 to December 17
- Division 1 (Juniors & Seniors) 4 teams
- Start times: 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.
- Division 2 (Freshmen & Sophomores) 4 teams
- Start times: 11:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.
League Structure
Game Format:
Teams will be created before the first games, based on skill level and positions. Each game will be two 25 minute running halfs. 5 minute half-time break, 1 time-out pergame. Bravehearts will decide a tie. Additional Rules:
