Blue Line Medical Services was founded to meet the needs of youth sporting organizations who are looking to have professionally trained first responders provide on site first aid services for their events.
The mission of Blue Line Medical today remains the same today as when we were founded in 2004; to provide professional, dependable on site first aid service to youth, amateur and high school organizations at an affordable price.
The value of our service was proven on November 26, 2010 at a girls hockey tournament game in Edina. A referee collapsed during the middle of an evening game. A Blue Line EMT was working the game. The EMT found the referee to be in cardiac arrest and began CPR. An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) was available and the EMT attached the AED pads. One shock was delivered and the referee's heart beat was restored. The referee was transported to the hospital and was released three days later. Three weeks later the ref returned to work and continues to do well.
We are very pleased to be of service to our youth sports customers and very proud to be an important part of Homegrown Lacrosse's programs.
