Jesse grew up in Prior Lake, and now resides in Minneapolis. He is a graduate of the the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Sport Management and is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Youth Development Leadership. Jesse received the UMLL 2nd Team All Conference Award and was Team Captain for two years.
Lacrosse has allowed Jesse to connect more with his community and to develop many special friendships. It also taught him many life lessons that extend beyond the playing field. "Lacrosse has really been instrumental in making me the person I am today through the relationships, knowledge, and experiences it has brought me." Jesse is grateful that lacrosse has brought so much joy and fulfillment to his life.
When he's coaching lacrosse, Jesse loves being both a mentor and a teacher. He feels like Homegrown can be described with these three words: energy, community, and action.
Tidbits: In his spare time, if he's not playing, living, or breathing lacrosse, Jesse enjoys eating at Village Wok or going boating. He would also like to travel someday, perhaps to Patagonia.
