The Homegrown Lacrosse Spring Face-off Clinic offers players the opportunity to develop extensive face-off skills and knowledge.

As the game of lacrosse has evolved, the positions have also become more specialized. Each facet of the game has tremendous significance, but face-offs play an integral role in determining the tempo of a game, as well as possession time. 

Guest Coach Spotlight: Mike Sisselberger
Mike finished up his rookie year in the PLL this past summer where he was named an All-Star and 2nd-team all-pro at the faceoff position. Mike averaged an impressive 68% at the X and helped his team win the PLL Championship. Before his pro career, Mike attended Lehigh University where he played lacrosse and wrestled. Mike also coaches with the Faceoff Academy (FOA) and coaches hundreds of faceoff athletes every year.

• Intermediate (grades 6-10)
  • Youth players and newer high school face-off players
• Elite (grades 9-12)

The Faceoff Clinic is dedicated to developing the lacrosse skills of every athlete through the highest quality of instruction. We strive to create well-rounded athletes with the ability to contribute to their teams offensively, defensively, and at the faceoff x. While physical skills are important, The Faceoff Clinic recognizes that many times the mental game can be the difference between a good player and an elite player. Therefore, we place great emphasis on strengthening these skills. Most importantly, The Faceoff Clinic believes in live repetition as a way to improve as a faceoff specialist. The Faceoff Clinic focuses on developing the following core techniques:
