GNLL Boys H.S. Winter League


The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Boy's High School Winter Field Season provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where area high school players can compete, learn and grow. 

Participating teams play 8 regular season games across 9 playable weeks running January- March at conveniently located regional host sites. Games run on the hour and consist of four 12-minute quarters.

The league provides the following for each game:  
    •    Certified Officials
    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 
    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
    •    Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings. 

Regular Season: 9 Weeks- Sundays, January 7 - March 3, 2024

Locations: 
Central: U of M Dome 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM/ NSC Field House 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
East: Conway Recreation Center TBD
North/NW: Brooklyn Park Sports Dome 8:00-4:00PM and STMA Dome 9-3PM

Divisions: Mixed Varsity 

Rules: NFHS Lacrosse Rules with MN Offseason Guidelines

Eligibility: Open to boys in grades 8 - 12 (Based on 2023-2024 school year). The league follows USA Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines. USA Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.

Regular Season Team Fee: $2800  

The Winter Season is preceded by the HS Fall Field Season (September-October) and followed by the MSHSL Spring Regular Season.

This is a current list of anyone who has filled out Free Agent Registration

Team registration deadline is Friday, November 17, 2023

Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to be scheduled and will incur a $100 late fee

A $1000 deposit is required for each team registered. Deposits are non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Teams are not considered fully registered until deposit payments are received. The remaining balance is due no later than December 15, 2023.

Homegrown Lacrosse is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Team fees cover facility, officials, EMT, field staff, equipment and league administration costs. Additional proceeds and sponsorships sustain, expand and develop service-based initiatives throughout the region.
