News Update 8/4: Homegrown Champions of Summer Event August 18th @ McMurray
Parents and players of all ages are encouraged to come cheer on their teammates nominated to play in the Buick H.S. All-Star game (6:00 p.m.). You can also catch Eagan take on the u17 Frost for our h.s. league championship (7:00 p.m.) and our state's top collegiate players go head to head in our Lakes Lacrosse Men's League Championship (7:00 p.m.). Additionally, Homegrown's u19 College Prep Team sponsor, Buick, will be hosting the MPH Hot Shot Challenge where players can win bragging rights for “Fastest Shot in Minnesota” and a $50 gift card. About: Homegrown's Boys H.S. Summer League works to provide a fun, safe and competitive environment where local players can develop alongside their teammates in the off-season. Our goal is to offer the most affordable, well organized league in the state. All proceeds from league dues support Homegrown's service based initiatives. Schedule: Mondays & Thursday Evenings June 8th - July 30th. *Teams play 1 game per week. We make our best effort to have each team play on the same night each week. *Final schedule will be posted June 2nd.

League is Insured (Does not require USlax membership)

Game Format: Two 25-minute running time halves. 5 minute half-time break, 1 time-out per-game. No sideline horns. 7 game regular season followed by a 1 night play-off. No over-time. Braveheart (full-field 1 v. 1 to) will decide a tie. For a full list of rules click here.

Play-off Format: Teams will be seeded based on overall record. Head to Head results will determine tiebreakers. Teams with the same record who tied each other in head to head competition will use season goal differential totals to determine final seeding. Records will be reported weekly online.

Rain-outs: If severe weather prevents play game will not be re-scheduled. Players and parents can check the site and emails for weather alert notification.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Team Cost: *LEAGUE IS AT FULL CAPACITY.

Team Registration: We accept team registrations only. Team coaches or administrators can reserve space by mailing a $500 team deposit to Homegrown Lacrosse, 2204 W 21st St., Minneapolis, MN 55405. All 2008 teams will have until May 18th to reserve their space. There are currently 4 spots open for new teams. These spaces will be given on a first come first serve basis.

All teams may call Aron Lipkin at the Homegrown office at 612-823-3919 with any questions or comments or concerns.

Team Administrators must:
-Pay their team's deposit and remaining balance (Due after their team's second game).
-Provide a coach or adult supervisor on the sideline at all games *Teams looking to hire a coach can contact the office for references.
-Set and collect their teams dues as well as pay their own coaches
-Ensure their players follow the HG code of conduct and sign waiver forms before playing.

Player Eligibility: The league is open to boys entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 for the ’08-’09. Each team may also have up to 5 2009 h.s. graduates play on their teams. Once a team's space is reserved all players must register and sign waivers online using our new registration system. All teams must have a minimum of 20 players.

Players wishing to participate on their respective teams must register and sign waivers online. The registration process is completely free and helps us to manage waivers and gather contact information for your team administrators. Use the link below to register.
