2011 Boys H.S. Winter Leagues (Prep & Varsity)

About: Homegrown's Boys H.S. Winter Leagues work to provide a fun, safe and competitive environment where local players can develop alongside their teammates in the off-season. Our goal is to offer the most affordable, well organized league in the state. All proceeds from league dues support Homegrown's service based initiatives.

Dates: Saturday January 2nd to Sunday March 6th

East / South Metro: Concordia University Sea Foam Stadium - Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

North Metro: - Vadnais Heights Sports Complext Sundays 4:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.

League Highlights

• Great Indoor Facilities and convenient locations.
• We provide certified officials, on- site EMT's and field attendants.
• Field attendants provide water and end-line balls at every game.
• Bracketed play-offs & championship.
• Team registration (typically %30 less than other league than run per player fees).
• Water Provided at all games.

• Your participation makes a difference. All proceeds from the league supports Homegrown's community out-reach and leadership development programs.

Game Format: Two 25-minute running time halves. 5 minute half-time break, 1 time-out per-game. No sideline horns. 7 game regular season followed by a 1 night play-off. No over-time. Braveheart (full-field 1 v. 1 to) will decide a tie.

Play-Off Format: Teams will be seeded based on overall record and will compete in a Championship and Consolation bracket during the last two weeks of the league. Head to Head results will determine tiebreakers. Teams with the same record who tied each other in head to head competition will use season goal differential totals to determine final seeding. Records will be reported weekly online.
