Leadership Development Program (L.D.P.):

Our Leadership Development Program allows high school volunteers an opportunity to work along-side the Homegrown staff at our Fall and Summer Youth and Middle School Programs. Participants work as counselors responsible for small groups of 6 to 15 campers. L.D.P. provides a unique opportunity for future coaches to develop coaching skills, their own understanding of the game, and lasting mentoring relationships with our great youth players.

LDP Volunteer Responsibilities:

  1. Work as an assistant coach on a 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th or 7th/8th grade team.
  2. Take part in staff curriculum planning
  3. Provide individualized instruction and support to our youth campers
  4. Participate in Homegrown staff training
  5. Must commit to %100 attendance and arrive on time each week.
  6. Run progressive skill clinics, warm ups, team huddles and post game sessions within the expectations and guidance of your teams senior staffer.
