I just wanted to thank you for a great weekend. It was a great experience for the boys. Mark and I really appreciate you sharing your expertise and especially your enthusiasm. I know the boys have learned alot from the both of you. Eventhough they were outmatched, you both made it very fun for them and made it a positive experience. You both have a wonderful way with kids.

I am so impressed with this camp and how well it is run. My son is a relatively new Lacrosse player. We have been wanting to get him into a skills camp. He signed up for this one by himself as his friends have all been playing a lot longer. He wasn't real excited about it as he is a pretty shy young man and he was concerned about doing it himself. You have all made him feel so good about coming, so encouraging, and he has learned many things to work on this winter. He also won the MN Swarm tickets yesterday which was really awesome. Thank you so much for doing such a great job!

Our 8th grade son Caleb really enjoyed the camp. This is the first camp we heard about, we did not know you have been doing camps for 4 years. He has commented especially on the prizes that have been given away and that a SWARM player was there. Also on a funny drill called “butt to butt.” We thank you too for giving the kids the opportunity.

hello! i am a student from Pam Shreurs' 1st hour P.E class at Roosevelt.i just wanted to say thank you so much for teaching us some fun Lacrosse stuff!!! it was really fun and cool!!!! you guys do an awesome job!!!so thaks so much i had a lot of fun! and you should take that as a big complement from someone like me because sports are not my favorite!!! so that's how much of a good job you guys did!!! thanks again!
1/16/08 P.E. Lacrosse Unit Participant – Roosevelt High
I am writing this recommendation in support of the work that Aron Lipkin, Daniel Lipkin and Heather Brick did at Roosevelt High School. During the week of January 7-14, these three came to Roosevelt and taught 5 double classes the game of lacrosse. Aron, Daniel and Heather were highly motivated to spread lacrosse throughout the high schools. They did a great job.
The job of teaching high school students lacrosse is not easy. Many of our students were skeptical about this activity, most were not very good. Aron, Daniel and Heather did an excellent job of communicating with and introducing our students to the basics of lacrosse. In just four days, the students were playing modified games. As the students began to play games, they actually started to enjoy the activity. 10 to 15 students were even interested in joining the lacrosse team.
In conclusion, lacrosse was very well received by the students because of the excellent job Aron, Daniel and Heather did in teaching and promoting the sport. As they represent a non-profit organization, any funding that would help these three continue their great work would be a great investment in the youth of Minneapolis.
